Photolusion Edit

Melissa: Our apartment, 11/15/2009, 4:19 pm, 1/40 sec, f/2.8, 5.8mm.
Computer: 11/15/2009, 5:11 pm, 1/30 sec, f/2.8, 5.8mm. I took the Melissa photo and set it as my desktop background.
With the combination of the two photos I was able to change the levels and sats. I then was able to cut and blend in the arms and her head to make her look like she popped out of the screen.

Photolusion

Tino dance 1: In the Kirkham dance studio. Cannon Powershot SD 630, 11/14/2009, 3:16 pm, 1/25 sec, f/2.8, 5.8mm.

With these photos I had the water bottle up close and put the subject further away from the camera making the illusion look like he was standing on the bottle.
Tino Dance 2: 11/14/2009, 3:10 pm, 1/20 sec, f/3.2, 7.1mm.
Tino Dance 3: 11/14/2009, 3:14 pm, 1/20 sec, f/3.2, 7.1mm. I just had Tino perform different dance moves and pose so I could get these shots. He liked it.

Edit: Photomerg

With this photo I went into photoshop and went into automate. I then picked the six photos to make this panoramic view. Photoshop automatically merges the photos. Once photoshop made this image I had to crop out some of the image to clean it up. I had different shapes because I shot these photos by hand so they were not all even. Once cropped out I then just messed with the levels and sats a little to bring some more color to my image. This project was fun, and I want to play with this a little more.

Week in Photos

So I was really busy this week trying to focus on the taking the pictures that I completely forgot about making my own template. So I used Sister Esplin's template and later will try one of my own. Later on this semester we have to make a photo book with of our own work. I used the clipping mask tool to place my picture inside of the frame which makes it a lot easier to fit the picture inside.

Portrait

Couple's dance: Canon EOS rebel T1i, 10/23/2009, 4:35pm, 1/320 sec, f/3.5, 18mm. Polynesian performance at a birthday party in Rexburg Idaho. Just touched up the picture with levels and saturations.
Tahitian dance: 10/23/2009, 5:01pm, 1/640 sec, f/5.6, 55mm. Just touched up the levels and saturation.
Lindsey stairs: Kodak P850, 10/24/2009, 4:03pm, 1/60 sec, f/8.0, 10.3 mm. With this image I had to move the levels and saturation quite a bit because the was a really dark day.
Titus with leaves: Blackberry storm, 10/15/2008. I don't have any picture information on these pictures because it was shot with my camera phone. I didn't have a camera on me and all I had was my phone.
Pumpkin patch: 10/17/2008, I also shot this with the camera on my phone. I then touched this photo up in photoshop. I crop, change a little bit of the levels and saturations.
The Rodela's: Canon Powershot SD630, 1/20/2008, 6:33pm, 1/60 sec, f/3.2, 7.1mm

Color swap

Samoan dance: 5:16pm, 1/400 sec, f/4.5, 29mm
I needed a fast shutter speed to capture a still shot of the performance. The performers are the Polynesian Cultural Association from Brigham Young University-Idaho. This performance was at a birthday party.
Edit: What I did was change the levels and saturations just a little bit, not too much otherwise it would have whited them out. I then used a quick selection tool to select her shirt. I had to touch up the selection because it had selected some of the white background. I then picked a color with the eyedropper. I then painted the yellow color on with the paint brush.
